Service Spotlight: CSV Order Upload Posted
At ML Accessories we are always looking for ways to improve our service, here is our latest update. Uploading a CSV file to place your order: Our technical guidelines on using this feature are linked beside the CSV Upload button. The guidelines explain the format the CSV must take and provides an example.
The feature is simple to use:
Click on the CSV Upload button Use the file dialog to find a CSV file to upload If the file is in the correct format and the products and quantities are okay then the products will be added to the order
If the format is incorrect or if there's something wrong with the products and/or quantities then useful feedback will be provided to the user
The biggest advantage of this feature is that it can reduce double entry of data for customers who use their own ordering systems. This in turn can reduce the potential for mistakes to occur.
Requirement for a customer order number: All orders placed through the website will now require a customer order number Users will be informed that the customer order number is missing if they try to place or update an order without specifying a customer order number
