COVID-19 Business Update Posted
The health and well-being of our customers, employees and partners are paramount to our business. In these uncertain times, we want to share some of the steps we are taking at Knightsbridge to keep things running as normally as possible for you, so you can carry on placing orders and receiving your deliveries.
We're making decisions and acting quickly as we gain new facts. We're following official directives and government advice. Most importantly, we're also protecting the safety of our team, customers, suppliers and delivery partners. We are maintaining the highest standards of hygiene at our offices and ensuring our people only report for work if they are fit and healthy.
Our supply chains are fully operational and our Customer Services team is up and running and looking forward to your calls. If you can’t get through to us at any time, use our webchat facility and we will be delighted to help. Many customers already order on line from us, if this is a good time to set up an online account for you, please let us know.
Our sales team have always worked remotely and are available on their mobiles and via Skype and WhatsApp.
Our Technical Services team are here to answer all your technical queries, our team have the facility to work remotely so we are confident we can continue to support you technically whatever your situation. And of course all our specification sheets are available to download straight from the website 24/7.
We have assurances from our delivery partner that they are fully operational and plan to remain so. We continue to be committed to our award winning next day delivery service – place your order by 5pm and we will deliver your order the next day. It may sometimes be difficult for you to meet your high service levels to your customer. Whilst we all operate in these uncertain times, we would be delighted to offer our K-Direct service to all customers for the reduced rate of £7.99 per order. If you can’t deliver, perhaps you would let us do it for you! We'll even throw in a complimentary Greggs gift card for your customer to enjoy !*
If you are a customer who collects your orders from our site in Dunstable we are happy to say that it is business as usual and you can continue to collect in the normal way between 8am and 5pm. You can rest assured that we have all the required safety and hygiene standards in place to protect the health of all visitors to site. We ask that you use the hand sanitiser located at the collection point when you first attend site. The hand-over of goods will then be carried out using social distancing procedures. There are also hand washing facilities close to the warehouse that are available for use - please use them before collecting your goods.
In order to protect everyone’s health and safety at this difficult time it really is important that you don’t visit site if you feel unwell. If you are experiencing symptoms please do not attend site, instead let us know and we can have your order delivered to you on the next working day.
Our plan is to carry on offering you the best service we can, retaining our stock levels, providing you with quotations and getting your goods to you as quickly as possible. We continue to monitor the situation and are committed to let you know if anything changes as quickly as possible.
